Re: Compiled latest example projects have weird GUI behavior on some DAWs

I've never built the SDK examples so far, as I don't usually work in C++. So I haven't tested them either.

I haven't seen any in the wild, however.

Re: Compiled latest example projects have weird GUI behavior on some DAWs

That virtual method doesn't seem to be implemented in the examples I checked (like 'helloworldwithVSTGUI'), however behaviorally on the FL Studio host these plugins show handles for resizing (corners glow blue when attempting to resize), but the plugins won't resize since they aren't implementing t...

Re: Compiled latest example projects have weird GUI behavior on some DAWs

I've finally had a chance to look at this.

What does the plugin return in IPlugView::CanResize()?

Re: Compiled latest example projects have weird GUI behavior on some DAWs

Could you try FL 20.0.5, just in case it makes a difference?

Are you testing in Windows or macOS?

What exact version of FL 20 did you test with?

Could I test the plugin in question?

Re: VST3 Bundle backward compatibility

It will indeed work with existing hosts because they already scan subfolders and will still find the .vst3 files, just a few levels lower than before.

What was the reason to change this btw? Forcing some structure on where plugins put their resources?

Re: vst2wrapper problems on Windows

FL Studio will let you debug, fwiw. You can let its plugin manager scan plugins without verifying (easier since verification runs it in a bridge process, so it's more difficult to debug) and then load it into FL itself to debug.

Re: Default presets

I fixed the parameter names and program selection for the next version of FL.

If you want, I can test your plugin with the changes to make sure it's correct.

Re: Question regarding 2.1 and 2.3 in the SDK license agreement

2.3 seems to clarify that you can't distribute the sdk itself, or parts of it, because of the words "for the use as software developer kit".
