we will accept contributions for sure.
For bugfixes you can just create your pull request on GitHub.
If you want to add features, please discuss them here first.
All code contributions will automatically be licensed via the VSTGUI license!

Hi, addDependentView is not part of VSTGUI nor part of the SDK. If I look thru the example sources, it is used in again. So I suspect that you just copied that code and adapted it to your needs. Maybe you did something wrong by adapting it, but without seeing your code it's impossible to tell. cheer...

Hi, this is a so called feature in Cubase/Nuendo where in Cubase it is active per default and in Nuendo it is not active. Look in Preferences/VST/Plug-Ins and toggle "Suspend VST3 plug-in processing when no audio signal are received". A possible solution for you if you really want to process silent ...

Just convert your bitmaps to PNG and use the alpha channel of the PNG format.
