Drawing Signals in the GUI

Post by Chris T »

Hey guys,

I intend to draw realtime signals in the plugin GUI, like an oscilloscope function. Do I need to install VSTGUI to do so? Where do I find a simple code example? Where does the code need to be placed?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Chris

Ok, I found this link somewhere: I guess this helps. Still I don't know if VSTGUI is now part of the vst 3 sdk, which it seems. And also, I can't find a code example with a basic drawing routine. Can anybody please help ?

I think it is a broken link here: https://steinbergmedia.github.io/vst3_doc/
.. which is part of the problem I didn't even get the first step in. The questions remain..
